Weed games are pretty much the same concept as drinking games. Actually, they are the exact same... just with weed instead of beer. With that said, it's fun to know what is popular right now and what it's called. So if you are going to a party soon, you might want to remember a couple of these weed party games.
1. Straight Face and Pterodactyl
The rules are simple, get into a circle of some sort and stare at one another. It works best if you are in a circle 70s Show-style. The first one to laugh or break their straight face is out and has to take a hit. The last person who doesn't laugh wins.
Pterodactyl follows the same rule as Straight Face, except everyone take a turn by trying to make the person next to them laugh only by saying the word Pterodactyl... and here is the catch, your lips have to be sucked in and around your teeth at all times. If you show teeth you're out. The game can start either clock wise or counter-clock wise. If a player ever wants the direction to change they simply have to shriek, however they make their arms looks like wings and shriek... however they imagine that a Pterodactyl would shriek.
2. Duck Weed
This is another game that works best sitting in a circle. Pass the weed around like usual, but the number of hits increases every-time the joint goes around the whole circle. Start at one hit and work your way up. If this is someone's first time smoking weed... don't go past three. Players are allowed to forfeit and leave the game at any point. They simply have to say 'Duck Weed' or 'Quack.' Which means one less player that could be the winner.
For more 'advanced' players and in smaller groups. You can make the game more challenging by having to hold the smoke in until it’s your turn again. If you exhale before it comes back, you're out.
3. Mary Jane's Wheel
- Pass the Toke
- Puff Puff Pass
- Spin Again
- Anything else you’d like to add
4. Mario Kart
Mario Kart is perfect for parties because almost everyone knows how to play it. Also, there is quite often someone playing with a disconnected controller... to another console. It can be really fun!
A fun twist on the game is “Kush and Kart.” It’s a lot like the popular Mario Kart drinking game. Basically you have to finish a beer before you finish the race. Except this time it's a joint. It can be one joint per team or if you really want to start the night off in a dramatic way, one joint each. However, there is no shame in mixing weed with tobacco if you want to make the games last longer. Heck, you can even mix weed with green tea.
There are also a few rules you can add to make the game more fun and challenging. Here are some suggestions.
- You have to stop racing if you cough
- If you got off the track you have to take a hit
- The last player to cross has to try to do 'The Troop' dance by Vanilla Ice
5. Spliff Solitaire
Spliff Solitaire is a game for one and it's like the regular card game... but you get to smoke weed.
Start smoking... or eating... however you prefer. Second, deal out any style of solitaire. Play the game to completion. The only difference here is that if you lose, take a toke. So, you will taking a lot of tokes.
Basically blackjack with weed as the reward. The player closest to 21 in each hand gets a toke.
Keep in Mind
Sorry to kill your buzz already... but please just remember not to drive high. People seem to think it's okay or somehow better than drinking or driving, but it's not! So don't drive high. Also, smoking weed gives you an increased risk of psychosis and schizophrenia. I'm not saying don't smoke, I just want people to know the risks.
Hello. Nice to meet you! How are you? Hmm ... this feels like a really one sided conversation ... why don't you follow me on social media so I can get to know you too!
