Stoners invented heavy metal music, influenced by centuries of occult chanting witches spells and a counter culture movement that began in the early 1970s. Numerous albums covers and song lyrics hinted at the cannabis culture. Today, stoner rock bands span from the psychedelic to the hard core pounding of drums and bass into a rhythmic trip of intensity. It is the female led bands that have bound the past to the future. It is women who bind life's future to its past. It is women who lead the stoner rock evolution. The ladies of stoner rock lure us to the list of weed to smoke with your favorite leading lady.

Heavy riffs, paranoia-inducing thrills and '70s fills are the signature attributes of Blood Ceremony. Out of the far north of Toronto, Canada, comes this black magic themed phenomenon. Blood Ceremony is black magic and rock rolled into one giant joint for stoners. Alia O'Brien is a brilliant talent on vocals and keyboard.

What to Smoke: Blue Cookies
