How To Make Ganja Grilled Cheese

Cheese, bread, and some good old fashioned marijuana.

Who doesn’t love a good grilled cheese sandwich? This after-school snack is a childhood favorite, but adults can enjoy grilled cheese too. Sometimes referred to as a “cheese sandwich”, grilled cheese has been making tastebuds happy since the roaring ‘20s. While bread and cheese are both ancient ingredients, the modern grilled cheese was not invented until the early twentieth century. It has been popular ever since.

Grilled cheese is entirely customizable, considering how many delicious, melty cheeses there are today. From feta to Colby Jack, there are lots of ways to enjoy your adult snack. There is one very adult way to enjoy it, though, and that is to make Ganja Grilled Cheese.

  • 2 teaspoons cannabutter
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • Bread of choice (up to 8 slices)
  • Cheese of choice
  • Toppings of choice

Combine the unsalted butter with the cannabutter in a bowl till soft. Spread the mixture on each slice of bread. Layer cheese on the unbuttered sides of the bread. Place a pinch of your other toppings of choice (cut up ham, spinach, etc.) on top of one side of the unbuttered bread. In a large nonstick skillet, cook each slice until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden. Pair the halves together and enjoy!
